That makes sense. I guess perceiving tatoos in a daily context, where strange motifs are placed in awkward locations, made me ignorant towards the artistic potential of them.
To be honest though, I can't imagine a chest tatoo being as engaging as one on the back, simply because portraying the bare front of a person seems just so blunt to me. A playful angle due to a slight turn towards the viewer from the back, however...
