It's time to admit something to myself. I don't like Spring. Of course, in the back of my mind I knew this, since Spring is basically Winter with more rain, and I hate Winter with a passion. But of course, I let /jp/ convince me that maybe, just maybe, if I wander in it again and try to savor the atmosphere (for the fifth time now), maybe it'll be comfortable this time. Nope.

The days are gay, since there's only about three combinations that actually work. The weather, outside of course, is lame and unispired (I FEEL LIEK CLEAR PISS NAO). The blossoms are clunky and obtuse - why would you put little flowers on things that are meant to be green? As for the temperature, when it's more fun to go on a rampage and jump in every puddle in sight than it is to actually enjoy the day normally, you know you have a loser (Winter, anyone?).

So I guess it's the blossoms that inspires normal people to become frothing, crazy Spring fanchildren. Something about flowers in gay colours over everything really gives /jp/ a boner. Or maybe it's the nostalgia factor, or "classic syndrome", where shitty seasons like this are elevated to classic status simply because they're old. Either way, you can take your Winter with flowers and masturbate to it all you want. I'll be basking in Summer. You know, a *good* season.
