Nijisanji tried to get a Korean audience and their KR branch is a massive flop. More than half of their first two KR waves retired because they literally couldn't hold an audience and they were actively getting sunk into debt and poverty, and that's with a MOSTLY female crew. To state how bad it is, the vast majority of them have <10k subscribers and their views per video are often <1k with <100 active watchers. To further put it into perspective: they do even worse than NijiID. Because of how poor they're doing, they're now subsidized with a living salary by Nijisanji instead of being expected to be money generators.

There's only ONE NijiKR that has more than 50k subscribers and that's Bora Nun with about 75k. The reason? Because she switched entirely to JP-only streams. There is no Korean audience whatsoever for vtubers, because they're already enslaved to kpop. People here may feel bad about Anya having <200k subscribers, but she is far and away more successful than about 75% of Nijisanji.
