Hypothetical situation.

Let's say I'm a "weird internet dude." That consists of having several disorders including antisocial disorders that prevent me from being able to talk to people without the abstraction of the internet.

So let's say I find that in general, I find the community of a specific board such as /jp/ to be really interesting. I talk with a few members of it one-on-one in personal chats and generally like their company, and enjoy many of the topics on the board (whether they're related to the actual board topic or not). Let's say that I find that IN GENERAL, I enjoy 60%~80% of posts and posters on /jp/.

But let's say that there's certain people who don't share my view (understandably) and don't want a horrible person like me ruining their "community." A conflict of interest, let's say.

And while we're speaking in hypotheticals, let's just establish that I have NO PROBLEM with any of this and understand completely that I'm intruding on something rudely and don't wish to bother you any more.

But in this hypothetical situation, I've really grown to like the board culture. The occasional off-topic thread that doesn't get deleted is actually fun to read. There's sincere, honest, interesting replies from people who are just as weird (or even weirder!) than me, and I genuinely enjoy reading these threads and replies.
