My natural tendency to drown will be the icebreaker, as Nitori, friend of humans, swoops in to my rescue on the Youkai Mountain river. Once she drags me to the river bank, I will begin to woo her with my intimate gun knowledge and years of mechanical engineering school, and then, seeing as we get along so well as a pair of shy autists with similar interests, I will ask to view her workshop and maybe work with her on some projects sometime. I can teach her CAD and how firearms work, and she can teach me optical camouflage and sit on my face. The rest is Gensokyo history.
