Well if we're talking gameplay, you have to include the Baldr series.

I've only played the most recent one, Baldr Sky, but I would absolutely recommend it (for the story, but gameplay is decent too). Gameplay is mech action.

Baldr Sky

Overall I really enjoyed the VN, but Chinatsu's route kinda pissed me off. It felt too forced.

I'll take the crybaby any day if I get more moments like this.

I finished the good ends in Baldr Sky, now I'm going back and doing the bad ones.

I'll probably go play Baldr Force next. It's a pain it needs 16-bit color for Windowed mode, but whatever.
