What savescumming? Battles are easy as fuck in ATII. If timing wasn't involved it would be boring. Manipulating emotions with attacks is great, the only downside is that most of the fights are so easy it doesn't matter (not to mention the game does a poor job of explaining how it all works).

Urelated, but I think the entire IPD system is amazing. It's like pokemon with overpowered cute girls who i perform loving girl/girl therapy on so they will join a fanclub to enjoy my tsundere's masochistic side.
