I will try to post more things I made when I get the chance! I genuinely like coming here because of your posts. Pirate Majima/Shiba and Mermaid Yuriko sounds fun. Yes! Tbh I was a little put off by Choudoku's art style at the first but I really grew to love it over time. Amano Chigiri's work in the FD is just so good and so is in the artbooks.
Going back to being NEET sounds great hypothetically but idk, those times when I was one were pretty miserable... Good luck on making something for Majima! Here's hoping Aromarie milks Choudoku for more mech! I need.

There were video games in history that were in their development cycle for years upon years that did eventually release so I'm not gonna pretend it's dead until there's real proof. I remember everyone used to meme Duke Nukem Forever was forever unreleased but look what happened kek

Gayoushi really is based. It's Majima's game and stuff like hers that truly makes me happy I went through the trouble to get better at JP. I think out of everything we've discussed with recs, I recommend the Majo duology + the side stories the most to you. You'll love it! The first game didn't feel too long and probably had one of the most cathartic true endings I've read ever in otome.
Still reading the second game at snail pace but it's already giving me kami vibes with the sexy jiji mc. A shame the games aren't voiced but for the royalty free music Gayoushi does chooses, it's pure kino. This fucking track is permanently burned into my mind.

She only does manga now (seems to be more profitable...) but I have small hope that maybe one she'll change her mind if more people support her stuff!

Yeah, it's pretty hopeless to be dependent on R18 joseimuke games in general at this point IMO. Though, I think even for eroge/galge, especially plot heavy ones, it's on the uncertain side sadly. Despite this, there are still many great, extremely varied ones that already exist. For that reason, you definitely should get into them more, I say. Personally played nothing but galge before BL/otome became a thing here so I'm a little biased but there are lots of different things to appreciate as long as you're open minded!

Thank you for the encouragement sis. Perhaps in another year or so. We'll get there for sure as long as we keep on reading constantly! I can recognize a lot without lookups but there are still things that trip me up, especially with the readings. sakura-paris.org is really good for reliably writing out vocabulary/kanji and providing different J-J dictionary options + external links to the usual online ones. I also found kanji.club extremely useful for looking up kanji from its components if Sakura Paris doesn't recognize my handwriting.

Pretty much natural to see PC games get toned down whenever they get ported to console, huh? I remember in the non-R18 Choudoku port, they watered down the incest and also remove some potential triggering content for both the original text and TL. Kyouko's ghost story about a deaf blind girl who was forced to become a prostitute was completely removed. Minor I guess but it's also kinda stupid since it does refers to it later in the story. it's very ??? wtf is that vague shit
Oh yeah! I remember asking about Yosuga no Sora here a while back. I want to play it for the qt white haired twins. Big time sucker for white hair girls.

Tomoyuki truly is the cutest, gotta be that haircut and patheticness kek. Really like the Innocent Grey artist in general.
Yuriko's personality taking huge turns in certain routes/endings and her borderline obsession with Majima reminded me a bit of KnS2's main villain so yeah kek
I always headcanoned Yuriko being yandere in another time/placesince her dad is basically one himself and of course, she has Majima's cursed manlet goblin blood as well

There are many games I still haven't played from them desu. I really enjoyed their heavy ones like BWS so I'm totally looking forward to reading Moshikami one day.
