I suppose our Valentine's Day tradition would be to dress up nicely and go out on the town together in a disgusting display of public affection. Particularly in places where you wouldn't expect it.
It started because she lost a bet on a fluke round of Melty, but now it's a competition in its own right, annoying everyone around us while we try to make each other blush as much as possible.
>Go to the local McDonald's
>Pester the cashier while we work out our order
>I graciously announce I will be paying, and she graciously accepts and calls me a big and handsome breadwinner
>I thought I had her beat, arranging the fries into a big heart shape we would take turns feeding each other
>Then she shows up, having swapped out the medium drinks for one extra-large cup with two straws
>Also, she points out how she made a heart out of ketchup on the patty
After a while, it always devolves into a stalemate of
>"I love you"
>"No I love you"
>"No I love you"
And so on, neither of us wanting to concede how we are both dying from embarrassment on the inside. If we both last until management asks us to leave, it's considered a tie.
