That's what time did to this board, I'd say. Like any long lasting forum/thread/community it ended up forging friendships and shared interests beyond the original intent. Definitely agree about how there should always be more directly on-topic discussion, always.

Are the MM threads actually fully gone now? I would be open to that if it was actually never gonna be made again and not on hiatus, as that would be fair. There's obvious bad blood between the 2 threads as I'm sure you know, though, so if it ever got out of hand, the diseases that affected that board and eventually caused it to die would spread here. I'd be careful not to just combine them all of a sudden, imo.
