Komeiji Koishi

Species: satori
Ability: power to manipulate the subconscious

Satori Komeiji's younger sister.
Like Satori, she was a youkai with the ability to read others' hearts.
However, knowing that people don't like having their hearts read, Koishi closed the third eye which reads others' hearts.

As a result, she lost her ability to read others' hearts, but in return she gained the ability to take action in others' subconscious. The denizens of the underground no longer hated her, but at the same time they feared her, and animals no longer loved her as much.

The power to read people's hearts also makes one's own heart stronger.
Closing off that power because it's hated is just running away, and is no different from closing off one's own heart. She became unable to accept others' feelings and shut down completely.


She became a youkai with no particular aim who wandered to and fro aimlessly. Since she herself found this to be fun, it wasn't really a problem, though. People around her felt a little sorry for her.

Even her older sister, Satori, became unable to read Koishi's sealed-away heart, and she never really understood where she went or what she did.
Just like a pet cat, she'd leave and return again in accord with her own whims.
