>I raise a staff and slam it into the ground and recite the Ancient Concord, the magical oaths that bind the demonic hordes from encroaching upon the human lands
>The hellhound laughs at my foolishness and approaches anyways, only to draw away hissing as she is repelled by the ancient oaths
>I proclaim that she is forever barred from the human lands and am declared Defender of the Realm
>Fox walks by and I call her over, we get hitched
>I use the barrier to keep most of them away so I can call over and cherry pick the ones I want for a harem and then fuck off, leaving the human village to fend for itself
The sequence of events was just really funny to me once I woke up.
