You don't even need to dedicate any of your time to get extra immersion in. You know how computer-illiterate people often leave the TV on in the background as they go about their lives? Just do that with online TV streams. I pay for a VPN and run abema in the background for a couple hours a day on a throwaway browser. You can probably get away with running livestreams or something instead, but I like not having to find anything and watching shows I've already seen with english subs.
