1600 isn't too extreme. I know roughly 5% of R6S pros use it... but over 90% use 400 or 800 though. It's much more common to run a low DPI with high sens.

That's what I use the DPI shift on the bottom of the mouse for, I toggle between 800 for games and 2400 for desktop and browser.

Higher DPI is actually more inaccurate and can skip because it uses digital methods to increase up to extremes like the 16,000-20,000 ranges that are advertised. Controlling sens with in game methods alone can be limiting with some games.
