You move to a new city to attend a prestigious private school. The bus pulled up around seven or eight PM, and you've spent three hours wandering around, trying to find the apartment you'll be staying in. The city is quiet, and the air cools rapidly with the coming night. Finally, your cell phone connects to the data network long enough for Gooble Maps to work, and you find it. It's smaller than you were expecting. You climb the stairs to the second floor, and find the door that reads "203 A", just like the key in your pocket.
The apartment is quiet and painfully empty, with your three boxes sitting unopened in the largest of three small rooms. At least you don't have much to put away. You heft the one helpfully labeled "clothes + misc" to your room, and dig out a pile of shirts and hangers. You open up your closet to put them away, but lurking inside you find...
