i've had two sl-1200s in the past and they are dank, they will never break.
i have a sony ps-lx500 now and it is also dank but it is belt-driven; in fact there are belts all over this thing that could potentially fail at any point. and being that it was only produced in 1984-85, the parts are hard to come by. it's automatic, has a loop function, tone arm lift and forward/reverse tracking buttons. very cool device.
