They were always temporary cast, I get the feeling LL doesn't like diverting resources to rival groups which explains why they just made them regular cast in Niji. Saint Snow got so popular that they tried giving them a little spotlight, but now they're probably regretting it since they'll never hear the end of "BUT WHERE SAINT SNOW" from Sunshine fans.

I will miss cute pa gf though. Might as well get into Precure so I can keep following her.
