Honestly, the only thing I remember actually being changed was the danuki's accent got tuned down a bit. I'm not sure if anything was done with the imp but that was definitely another thing people took issue with.

The MGU thing wasn't a big deal and it's best not to dwell on it too much. It was the first site that profiles were being translated on, but for various reasons there was a lot of grimdark and dystopia posting which eventually culminated in KC getting hatemail and a picture of a baphomet head on a pike. He wanted bapho man banned and he was but it only lasted a bit before he was unbanned and sending KC a familiar's head on a pike. KC took their privilege to post his stuff away, giving it immediately to a new place called MGR, and they've been a bogeyman ever since.
