The energy required to send that projectile 2miles away will mean that up close it will just pass thru the slime. Of course being hollow points it will expand but if you shoot a slime in the chest i don't think it will have time to properly expand and slime is softer then flesh. To add to that, the bullet will have to be significantly larger then common calibers to accept a decent payload. This fat bullet filled with a light material won't make it to 2 miles mark and the wind will easily divert the projectile. This means that you need to make an even bigger bullet with filler material to add weight like lead. Also 2miles is a ridiculous range, not many people have pulled off that kind of sharp shooting.
