Why are American prison systems so disgusting?

The prison guards in these scared straight videos talk about how the prisoners are going to rape you as if it's one of the intended features of the prison. Isn't it supposed to be their job to stop these things?

Do Americans even try to rehabilitate their criminals at all or do they just employ a bunch of sociopaths as guards, treat the inmates like animals, and encourage rape and violence?

Why do you think that God is nice? God has never been a nice guy in any religion ever. This whole "god is love" shit is a recent secular invention. Everyone in every religion since the dawn of time has been scared shitless of God and did anything they could to appease him, sometimes even sacrificing virgins.

Have you even played sims before? If you had then you would know that it's fun to watch your creations suffer sometimes, but it's also fun to pick favorites and help them.

This is why you should be religious. Become one of God's favorites and maybe you won't die a horrible death because God was bored and he wanted to see what it would look like to see your body smashed against a car's windshield.
