Wait until you get to chapter 5, where Michiru reappears. That made me cry buckets.

I would really love to see more Higanbana. It's a much simpler concept than the main WTC series, but it is a really good setting. I especially like the way it's philosophically laid out in the last chapter of Second Night, which basically answers "why humans need the existence of monsters."

How many other people love Michiru? She might be my favorite character from Higanbana. She's so cute, and I identify with her so much...I just want to see her happy!

I hate how much she's paired with Hikaru Nihei in fanart, though. That guy's a dick.
