After listening half of the new album and by reading these ridiculously hyped reviews, I think Kuba is replacing the jpop elements with even more epic/catchy chorus, like now these songs are more chokoreto like, ironically but probably intentionally increasing the meme level of Babymetal with more earworm elements and making the music more digestible to new f a m s

The other strategy, also described in the reviews, is the new "epicness" : RoR and The One are totally on it. Chigau and Awadama are full chorus. Karate is in the middle of both.
