That's not how the afterlife works. How do you think things worked when humans died before Christ was even born? You think it dates all the way back to Adam and Eve, but the reality is Buddhism -and- Shinto are both older than Christianity. They wouldn't have converted buddhists to christians in the afterlife.

You think the afterlife is Christian, even if someone who dies holds no christian beliefs. This is wrongful thinking. Buddhism is correct in the sense that you can -think- yourself into the afterlife, able to reach the realm of the Devas in meditation for example. The Kingdom of Heaven doesn't accomodate reincarnation, there's no room for buddhists there, and especially considering the fact that buddhists reject creator deities.
