So according to Kioh Gyoku the ending to Mystic Square where Yuuka steals Alice's Grimore and obtains Ultimate magic is canon. However When you run across Alice in Perfect Cherry Blossom she has her Grimore. Thusly we can assume that somewhere between Touhou 5 and 7 Alice beat Yuuka and reclaimed her Grimore. This doesn't explain WHY Alice is so badass, but is an example of such
