Comparing some quotes, I've noticed now some of Sotsu Satoko's quotes actually come from Hinamizawa Syndrome high school Satoko too, not only Dark Awakening Satoko. So, yeah, it really seems like they just put together a bunch of different resources for her and didn't actually have a recording session for her voice clips.

Even before that, I had noticed Sotsu Rika reuses a couple of voice clips from a Bernkastel-like voice datamined a long time ago (just some battle quotes, not the longer ones). For a while I thought Sotsu Rika reusing some of her clips meant they had dropped it, and it was actually meant to be an early take on Sotsu Rika, but since Sotsu Satoko's voice is just a montage of different Satokos puit together, I guess we might still get this Bernkastel-like Rika eventually in Mei (there were no graphics though, it was just her voice).

Yeah, at least as far as fan response goes Rika's seemed to do great. But I have no idea about actual numbers, since no one posted sensor tower charts recently.

Like I said though, they were doing these monthly and suddenly stopped. I'll be surprised if they go back to them.

It's not like there was a running plot that had to be closed or anything. Rena's was a weird Tsumi "What if" where she kills her own father, Mion was some fragment where she teams up with Shion in her plans and then it ends up with Mion and Keiichi surviving the GHD. Rika was her welcoming Keiichi to Hinamizawa before Mei starts.
