This came from the leaked magazine that someone got anime Kita and Ooi not too long ago...

各話には第六駆逐隊の回、金剛型の回、大和の回などあるが、通して吹雪の話になっている

Long story short: For the anime, they orginally were going to have only 20 Kanmusus, but expanded it to 40 now.

Some episodes will be character focused. One will focus on Kongu, another for Yamato, and another for DesDev6.
