I never got why some people got the feelings they weren't a couple. They have obviously feelings for each other (Well, explicitly from Kawase's side), it's just that Tamamori never really had romantic feelings for Kawase up to that point, while he held romantic feelings for Minakami's for all his life (And probably part of him still does)

On the top of it their personalities are pretty different, especially Kawase who is hard to talk to. I doubt they'll go full dere/married couple like Minakami and Tamamari at on point, but I think they'll reach a silent understanding they are together.

According to the character profile they sleep together every night because Kawase gets scared of sleeping alone which is adorable. Also Tamamori and Kawase's full names are in there now. They all have names that are water related except for Hanazawa which is weird.
