I always got the impression that Anons would really have to fight for their place in the mansion. Like, everyone has their schtick, Blade maid, gatekeeper, librarian, deamon book keepers, faeries who do jack shit, hobgoblins who do all the real work, ect.
So Remi would expect a new hire to find a niche quickly or risked getting terminated. And God forgive me if I ever get around to writing that story.

What would be really hilarious is that she'd try to cover up her feelings to maintain her charisma like 'of course I had Sakuya tail you on your village trip! They're many dangerous youkai around after all', 'You should welcome the male guest only while Sakuya welcomes the female ones, it makes sense right?', and 'Ah, where did these cuts come from? You feel into the rose bushes? I'll have them incarnated right away then, have to look out for the work force'. Then again, these are all things Remi would probably just do anyway, which would add another layer of fear and paranoia. Is she just being herself or is she obsessed?
