She would definitely try, but perhaps be a little more nuanced about it, and try to sprinkle it advice throughout the pampering. She'd definitely tell Mai to stop being so rude to Yuki when Yuki clearly adores her and sings her praise whenever an opportunity presents itself, and that shouldn't be how you treat such a golden treat of a friend back.
Unfortunately, I don't think Mai will entertain that pampering for too long. She'll probably leave Letty's lap, call her an ugly cow, and take her leave. Many would lose patience with Mai, but Letty understands, and Mai always finds her way back to Letty's house anyway. She claims its because its better company than the only other ice related girl out there.
