I like the image of Jesus that raids Hell, kicks Satan's ass and takes his loot rather than the compassionate Jesus that died for our sins.

In fact, a VN where you play as Jesus could be pretty cool. Genderswap all the apostles and here we go. "You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church" takes a wholly different meaning then.
