for me it was the "My parents found out I'm a vtuber" clip.
cute girls saying lewd stuff or slurs were old news.
telling a simple story without any drama or gimmicks or embellishments and managing to make it charming and funny was something quiet impressive.

I had been seeing recommendations of vtuber clips for quiet some time last year. Kizuna Ai was fun for a bit but most others were just boring.
I remember I watched something about Matsuri wanting to sleep with aqua in Minecraft and it just felt fake and cringey, and very low-tech compared to Kizuna.
And then about a year back, for some reason I clicked on a TL'd clip of her telling a story of how her parents found out she was a vtuber.
It was all just so natural, just a real simple story of something embarrassing happening, and there was something so charming about it.
This comet has been taking me for a ride ever since then.
