Nonmei was business I think. Non and Mei were together a lot and in most of the videos they flirt around backstage especially BBQ vids. But originally it was business. Kanon got a bit too into Mei though and the fans began to support nonmei more than they supported mei. Mei kept getting asked about Nonmei at handshakes and how she was cheating on Non when she flirted with the other girls. Non was also being very clingy to Mei.

So Mei killed it. Nonmei doesn't appear anymore for that reason.

You can see in that wemb there that Non is prompting Ryoha to tell on video about nonmei kissing and Mei's over reaction to it.

So it was originally business. Then it wasn't so much business but Mei got jealous the focus was on Nonmei and not her. So it died.
