Dark Sakura began as a way for Sakura to escape the emotional pain of nightly rape and torture. Every night when the brothel would open, Sakura would slip herself into a trance and wake up as another woman. In the morning, she would wake up and attempt to play off the night's activities as a bad dream. After all, nothing that bad could happen to a girl that good, right? After a while, Dark Sakura began to disapprove of her situation. She killed Shinji and Zouken, and attempted to kill the one other person who could tie her to that life -- Shirou.
