But it is hard on your car and is really hard work. Most routes don't pay that much, either, and you have to pay for the gas and other work expenses. Plus, you typically don't get any days off; I even had to work the night my mother died.

Most people drop their routes after a couple of weeks or months; I've been doing it for nine months. I'm looking at a better route now that will tip well and pay about 1K a month. That wouldn't be horrible.
