I meant it because of this line and their exchange. I think it went like this:
>Segundo: Juana-kun says she is child
>Segundo: child is supposed to be half-lived, right?
>Segundo: but Juana-kun here is long-lived, isn't she?
>Alvaro: Tes, we, the master race, endorse it
>Segundo: therefore Juana-kun can't be child and is on the clear
This is why I thought it was like that.

A dialogue that would make more sense if the child was always supposed to be an elf:
>Juana-kun here says she is that child but that child shouldn't be this much grown-up by now, being an elf. Juana-kun is an elf [and not a half], right?
>Tes, I confirmed it myself.
>Therefore Juana-kun isn't child.
Same result, slightly different implication.
