For me, different titles/series present an entirely separate reality within their own parallel universe and this is perhaps most strongly felt in JAV with a plot. However, the same logic can still be applied to titles where the actress is expected to fulfill a certain role/stereotype/function within the pornographic spectacle in the absence of a story. Here, the actresses are accordingly different versions of themselves from title to title. If I have not watched a particular release then for all intents and purposes, that iteration of whatever actress simply does not exist in my frame of reference for reality. I am not bothered in the slightest when an actress I like partakes in genres or sex acts which I find distasteful as my brain can rationalize its nonexistence.
