Here's my full strategy
>player character
Mima. Her range is shit and her bomb is laughably bad, but the simple fact that she's the only character who can get the 400 point item threshold means she has one more life than the rest. That alone makes her the ideal playable character.

>Sara
Move the fuck out of the way when she shoots the blue bullets. They move so fast they end my run instantly.
Timeout her last attack for reduced rank (not sure if it matters but I do it anyways).
>Louise
Requires 1-2 bombs. Her lasers will surely get me otherwise. With all the other characters, one bomb is enough, but Mima's bomb is so shit that I might require another one.
>Lolice
Requires 0-3 bombs. Random as fuck fight. Pray to Jesus.
>Yuki and Mai
Requires 2-4 bombs. Run right up to them when they shoot the curvy lasers. Otherwise they are certain to kill me.
>Mai
Requires 0-1 bombs. Her spinning lasers are the only hard part of the fight. Don't forget to stop firing when she throws eggs at me.
>Yumeko
Requires 4-6 bombs. Her swordspam is some of the most insane danmaku in the entire series. I need to bomb the fuck out of them or I won't even make it to Shinki. The rest of her patterns are consistent. I really should try timing out her final for reduced rank, but I keep forgetting.
>Shinki
Requires all remaining resources. Pray to Jesus, Buddha and Allah. Only made it passed Devil's Recitation a single time, and proceeded to shit the bed on her final. Her fat mommy ass is a safespot after her second pattern, then at her fourth pattern camp out there until the beginning of her fifth pattern. Devil's Recitation is bombspam time. Though preferably after the big lasers start appearing. Pray to every known deity that I can survive.
