New question: Am I practicing wrong? Whenever I fuckup and die, lose bombs, ragequit or whatever, I physically quit and start again from level 1. Due to this I can perfect Rumia, Cirno, and China's stages with ease, but it's also repetitive as shit for me to do it over and over and over just to get where I suck, inevitably fail, and repeat.

Should I be practicing stages individually in Stage Practice instead? Like keep going to Stage 4, practice practice practice, and then attempt a full game again only when I've got it down, or what?

Is it okay to bump up my lives from 2 to 3 or 4 in EoSD?

The game is difficult. I can beat Stages 1 (usually 2) and 3 without dying, but I make stupid mistakes on Cirno sometimes, and Patchy's stage can go fuck itself.

I want to 1cc this game on Normal, but it's starting to seem impossible. I never end up using my bombs, because I only believe in using them for deathbombing, and my reflexes are never good enough for deathbombing, so they all end up wasted when I die.

If I try and instead use a bomb in a tight spot where it feels like I'm going to die, It'll always be wasted because I'll end up getting out of it somehow. So, fuck.

Am I doing it wrong? I always ragequit whenever I die or lose bombs, and I'm making no progress. I even promised myself I would at least get to Remilia without continuing before the date changes again, but...

Why are Touhou games impossible and unfair?
