My theory is that you have to farm a specific item one at a time. If you farm, let's say umeboshi and nori, in 2-5 and 1-4, you'll get rice mostly (from my experience). But if you do this method, you'll get more what you want. I've been camping 2-5 and 5-4 since yesterday and got 13 nori.
