So /jp/, I've been reliving the past and playing the first few Touhou, and realized I'd never played Touhou 1 (Highly Responsive to Prayers).

So I boot up Anex86, find the game in my explorer, and start it. I start out on Hard, because I'm bad and kinda scared.

I could barely complete the first boss without continuing, and moved on to the "Makai" route, with YuugenMagan, and Elis. I beat them with much difficulty, even utilizing the advantage of unlimited continues.

Breezing through the last three stages, enter Sariel and her (despite pixely, microsoft paint-looking) beautiful art. I've spent the last few days raging over how hard she was for me, even using seven lives and trying many different tactics. I ended up finally beating her by spamming the fuck out of my bombs and basically trying my best. The screen flashes white and shit like any other boss, and it pauses for a second.

Anyone else have terrible experiences with being a <spoiler> Baka </spoiler> in Touhou and getting devastated?
