No I don't think they neglected us because of that. It was mainly because of their old label, Tokuma, being insular and not wanting to take any risks with breaking or busting in the western markets. Kpop artists/girl-groups like Wonder Girls were pushed in the west hard a few years ago and most of them didn't bring in the expected revenue.

There wasn't anything wrong with Tokuma's strategy since their national market is large enough already unlike Korea's that desperately tries and pushes artists into Japan. I'm just glad they can do some small venue shows instead of being shoehorned into the industry trying to capitalize on Kyary's success with her whacky meme image.
