I don't have many 25+ female friends, but from what I've observed in my own age bracket, the prerequisites for having sex with someone seem pretty lacking or totally misplaced, which will almost inevitably lead to short-lived relationships based on little more than physical attraction.
They're not exactly one night stands, but they might as well be.
