I think that while she enjoys being alone most of the time once in a while she gets lonely so she goes out and starts bullying Reimu and random fairies.

I was surprised to hear her admit that she had no idea. I had thought that most youkai would have died before admitting to a human that they didn't know something, especially one who had the dangerous aura that Miss Yuuka had. I tentatively asked if this was really the tiny peach pit I had given to Miss Yuuka. "Yes. The same one. In the end, I chose to accept it. Trees and plants keep their secrets as readily as any human or youkai, and I respect them for that. It won't be in bloom until next Spring, of course, but the fact that it is already so large can only mean that it is a very healthy tree."

Miss Yuuka regarded it for a few seconds more. "Perhaps it is for the best that you didn't come for an update sooner. It allows you to truly understand the difference between when you helped me plant the pit to now. However, I would still appreciate an explanation. Come." Miss Yuuka turned, beckoning us to follow her as she walked toward the house. Suddenly, I remembered the threat she had made to me on my first visit, so I voiced my concerns and asked if I wasn't going to get my limbs torn off for this. To my surprise, Miss Yuuka laughed, a refined sort of giggle, the type I thought that I might have seen from a princess like Wakasagihime, and said that she was inviting us in. She was a curious woman, I thought. The contradictory feelings I got between her words and actions, which were perfectly pleasant, and her general aura, which made me feel a little nervous for my life made it difficult for me to understand her.

Yamame caught up with me and took my hand. "Is this your home, Miss Kazami?"

"It is, and it isn't." Miss Yuuka confirmed as she led us up the steps to the patio in front of the main door. "You could call it my Summer home. The one that exists in this world." I had no real idea what to make of that, and it didn't seem that Yamame did either. She swung open the double doors and stepped inside. "Please wipe your shoes before you enter." The youkai told us, disappearing inside. Yamame and I looked at each other, then realised that we really didn't have much choice unless we wanted to insult her, so we stepped inside and wiped our feet on the provided coarse welcome mat. Miss Yuuka was waiting for us, placing her folded up parasol into a small pot. "Follow me, and do your best not to stray. The inhabitants of this place may take offense." That sounded dangerous, so I took Yamame's hand and made sure that we stayed close to Miss Yuuka as she led us through the bright interior of the mansion. The hallways had rich, red carpets with darker walls, reminding me somewhat of the Vampire's mansion, but with far more taste. Sunlight poured in through the windows, which were large and plentiful. Perhaps, I thought with a slight derision that I forced down, it was because Sakuya Izayoi was not involved.

"Have you been here before?" Yamame whispered to me, and I shook my head. Only the outside, I whispered back. Miss Yuuka had threatened me more than well enough to not even dream of entering without her permission. "It's...Quite pretty, actually..." I agreed quietly. "I bet children would love to run around a place this big." I wondered privately where that had come from but chalked it up to Yamame thinking of her sisters.

"In here, please." Miss Yuuka said, leading us to a door somewhere deep inside the mansion. I couldn't say where we were in relation to the outside, but it didn't seem to be like the twisting corridors of Eientei or the monotonous, never-ending corridors of the Vampire's mansion either. Miss Yuuka pulled the door open and beckoned for Yamame and I to step inside. Inside was nothing but a tiny corridor leading to another, more ornate door with stained-glass patterns running through it. It was far lighter here. "The botanical garden. One of them, at least." She said, pushing us through the second door and stepping in behind us, then closing the door behind us.

A nice long conversation with Yuuka about gardening would be nice.
