I'm turning 30 next week. Never had a girlfriend.

For 9/10ths of my 20's I was 5'9" 143lbs with a visible 6pack that I got from doing 200 sit-ups a day when I was a teenager and visible pecs from surfing. Obviously, those things didn't help me get a girlfriend.

Now I'm 195 lbs because of the side effects of Risperidone, an anti-pyschotic I started taking last year. The side effects have died down, but I have more confidence with girls now. I will have a girlfriend any day now. So it doesn't matter how /fit/ you are.

Don't worry. If you were socially awkward enough not to talk to her, she wouldn't have been interested past you saying hello in the first place.
