The standards of attractiveness for MGs are probably completely different from that of humans. They're demonic beings, so they likely operate in ways that are completely foreign, if not incomprehensible, to us.

For example, consider how humans have selectively bred wolves (wild, aggressive) into dogs (domesticated, loyal), and then we turned dogs into pugs and chihuahuas. The latter are an affront to nature, pugs in particular have all sorts of health issues.

I'm sure wolves (who can still mate with dogs) wouldn't even recognize them as "something I can mate with", but "something I can eat", or ignore them outright. However, humans like pugs, so that's why they're still around.

The same logic applies with monster girls: just because your own kin doesn't like you for any number of understandable reason, doesn't mean other beings wouldn't be interested for any number of incomprehensible reasons. If humans can form an emotional bond with other animals, I don't see why sentient monster girls couldn't form emotional bonds with humans.
