I need some help /jp/

For various reasons (an extremely large inheritance being the main one) I no longer need to work. Ostensibly for the rest of my life.

Now before my recent good fortune, I was like you: a ronery nobody dreaming about Japan.

Now I have the opportunity to start a new life in Japan, where I can pursue my hobbies (writing, sculpture and gunpla)

My problem though, is that Japan has hurdles for people wanting to settle there. Since I don't need to work, a work Visa is pointless (1. because I don't have a job offer there and 2. because a prerequisite for qualification for a work Visa is a higher education qualification which I don't have) and I don't know much about the other Visa types. I am pretty much fucked by the language factor too (I don't know it)

So does /jp/ have any useful information? I really just want to move over there ASAP.

And yes, I have visited Japan before.
