I'm willing to bet TenInai is an absolutely terrible game and it's only mentioned because it has become a minor meme among the community. If and when it comes out, it's going to be fucking terrible and you know it.

Just like Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. That game is obviously going to be shit, but people get excited over it moving 1% every 6 months. Don't get yourselves hyped up people...there's nothing but disappointment in this world.

Actually it's not unsightly, but very simple. The reason purity is valued is because it is so rare and transient. Gold wouldn't be worth shit if it were as easy to acquire as wood. The same with women and flowers. They all expire one day, but at their peaks they're highly sought after, and that fleeting beauty is something that has fascinated people since the dawn of time. Romance fiction lets us enjoy that.

Idols aren't singers (that can do drugs and party all day). Idols have value because they're giving up some portions of their lives for the sake of fame, money and career in showbiz. They aren't like normal singers. Their "purity" is a major reason behind their attraction and it only has value because most girls can't seem to keep it in their pants nowadays and people are still fascinated by purity. If they wish to give it up, they could always declare their intention to leave and pursue something else in life. Like college, marrying, acting, singing and stuff. It's actually unreasonable for them to have their cake and eat it too.

But it's all about public perception. Something people don't know might as well not be true. I'm pretty sure most of them lie about their private life, and that reeks. But dissing an idol girl when she's caught slutting it up is logical since she's deliberately destroying what gives her worth as an idol.
