They are low-key very good characters that, while I can't say they're in my top 10 or even 20, I am quite fond of.

They're visually appealing and exhibit personable, well, personalities, but most of all they are exemplary of the type of kami that would die out in the Outside World but thrives in Gensokyo's cloistered system. They are content with a small number of worshippers and in fact do not want a bigger workload according to their profiles. Moreover, despite this, they are thoroughly dedicated to their respective domains, displaying themselves to be classic kami at heart. None of that Kanako-style, businesslike chicanery here. Just they and their small, everyday miracles.

Also, Minoriko is insanely hot in a rural housewife kind of way, and depressed Shizuha is my spirit animal. But that's beside the thrust.
