The problem with that notion is that the harsher you sanitize the onahole, the more gritty/rough or porous the texture of the tpe gets meaning the oils will strip away and the tpe which holds these oils will suck up more water meaning mold is more likely to appear deeper in the layers.

Use mild soap and lukewarm water and roll up a microfiber towl, shove inside while the cavity is still wet/ moist to get most of the water not all of it.
After that the hole will be slightly damp with which the aquarium pump will help out with.

You do not need the diatomaceous earth sticks if you have an air pump already.

Diatomaceous sticks also need to be air dried after they have been used or saturated with moisture.

Oils in the tpe onahole will act as a barrier against water and mold but you remove a tiny amount after each washing so to prevent the onahole tearing up prematurely, give the inside and outside an oil bath with baby oil containing the least amount of ingredients you can find.
