Anons, I need your help.
I haven't kept up with Vocaloid since 2011. For reference, one of the last albums I remember listening to was pic related. It's cool to see that MikuDB is still up, although searching a bit I found out the admin from the time I visited is long gone. I kind of drifted away from Vocaloid, but I always wanted to get back into it and I'm doing that now. I have a few questions, and I would be grateful if you guys could help.
Aside from the recommended albums on the OP, any recs of widely well-regarded releases that have come since 2011?
At the time, Luka was pretty new and her voice was a significant improvement compared to Miku's. Aside from the "classics", did any vocaloid achieve great popularity since then?
Have Miku's or anyone else's voice been updated to sound more natural or they still have that charming kinda robotic sound?
